I noticed that you include five different HTML files with each minisite template package? What do I need all those files for?
Depending on what you plan to use the minisite template for, you may not need all of them. But I included them just in case … to save you a step. Also, I’ve put some tips on how to add value for your business to each page. Here is a summary of the HTML file included with each minisite template package and what you could use them for.
- index.htm
This is your primary landing page. You can use it as a squeeze page, a sales page, an enrollment page, etc. Basically this is the page your visitors will land on to see what you have to say or offer.
- thankyou.htm
This is your download page. This is the page your customer will go to when they have successfully purchased your product or signed up to your list to receive your downloadable “ethical bribe.”
- cancel.htm
This is the page your customer will land on if they cancel their order before paying. PayPal gives you the option to send them to a cancel page of your choosing, which is why I included it. This is an excellent opportunity to offer them something else and not loose them in cyberspace.
- success.htm
This is the page your customer lands on when they have successfully taken the first step to get on your opt-in list. This is the page where you tell them to keep an eye out for their confirmation email and to white list the email address that will be sending it. It is also an opportunity for you to offer them something while they wait for that email.
- subscribesuccess.htm
This is the page you send your subscriber to when they click the confirmation link in the confirmation email. Here’s where you tell them to expect another email with information about whatever you offered them. Creating this page looks much more professional than using the default page your autoresponder would send them to.
How do you make these templates so affordable?
Because several people will purchase each template, I can afford to spread the costs out. It’s like of like group coaching being more affordable than one-on-one coaching. If I were to create a template exclusively for one client’s use, the cost would reflect that and therefore, be higher.
